The Full Story
About
In the fall of 2023 Bill Hawkins, our founder, met the Pastor Melvin Campbell of Jordan Baptist Church while knocking doors in Lynchburg, VA. Pastor Campbell asked Mr. Hawkins to start the Virginia Bible Institute (VBI) so others could take advantage of the classes Mr. Hawkins was teaching. From that point until now God has been opening doors and bringing people together to get to the root of the problems that are facing our families, our churches, and our nation.
Mission
The mission of the Virginia Bible institute it to make disciples and equip Christians with Biblical principles which are the answers to the problems of today, so they have the confidence to make an impact in their family, church, and community.
Vision
Virginia Bible Institute trains Christians Biblical principles that transform lives by teaching parents, church members, and Sunday School teachers’ Biblical preservation, the Biblical principles of government, and the science of creation. Our goal is to disciple Christians to reach their communities with practical Biblical answers for the problems of today.
Instructors
Bill Hawkins
Mr. Hawkins is an educator, historian, and author with a degree from Fairmont State University who is teaching the Biblical Preservation Course.

Steve Putney
Mr. Putney is a former history professor at Liberty University who will be teaching America's Biblical Heritage.
To Be Determined
